ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਸਕਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ
ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ‘ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਤਿਹ’ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਟੈਸਟ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜਾ ‘ਸਕਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ’ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਚੇਚੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਡਿਸਪੈਂਸਰੀ, ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਡਾ. ਅਨੁਪਮਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਇਹ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ, ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਤੇ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰੀਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਕਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਤੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਤੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ 132 ਕੋਵਿਡ-ਸੈਂਪਲ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਨੈਗਟਿਵ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਦੂਰੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ, ਵਧੀਆ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵੀ ਮਾਸਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਲੱਛਣ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ-ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੁਕਤਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਕਰੀਨਿੰਗ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

Multani Mal Modi College organized COVID Screening Cum Awareness camp
Multani Mal Modi College Patiala today organized a screening cum awareness camp for its faculty members and staff to support ‘Mission Fateh’ under the guidelines of Punjab Government and to contribute constructively in control and prevention of Covid Pandemic. A team from Govt. Medical Dispensary, Model Town, Patiala under the leadership of Dr. Anupam Preet conducted the tests under controlled conditions. College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the medical team and said that it is our responsibility as conscious citizens to help and support the government run initiatives and guidelines to eliminate this epidemic. He also motivated the staff members and students and informed that screening is must for everyone and we should rely on medical and scientific information and measures to end this pandemic. All staff members and teachers were screened in this camp. 132 samples were collected and all were found negative for Covid. During this awareness camp the teachers and staff members were demonstrated how to maintain social distancing, what type of masks are better for protection and where to approach in case of any symptoms of the Covid-19 disease. They were also provided information regarding various screening centres in the city and online help lines.
